Gala premiere of the film Hush... Gala premiere of the film Hush...

Gala premiere of the feature film Hush... directed by Lukas Nola was held on December 16 in the Europa cinema. The premiere screening was held infront of the full auditorium and the director along with the actors Tihana Lazovic, Lana Baric, Zivko Anocic, Milan Plestina and the film crew presented the film. Film audience will be able to watch the film in Cinema theaters across the Croatia from Thursday December 19. The film had its Croatian premiere at this year's Pula Film Festival and won six awards.

Festival de cinema Europeen des Arcs was held in a popular ski resort in French Apls from December 14 until December 21. The Festival is one of the most important places for the European cinema promotion and for the filmmakers networking with a very rich film and industrial programme. Kinorama presented recently shot feature The Reaper by Zvonimir Juric within the Les Arcs Coproduction Village as a part of the Work in progress programme.

The Croatian Embassy in Romania in collaboration with the French Institute, the European Commission Representation in Bucharest and with the support of the City of Zagreb, held Days of Croatian film from Novemebr 28 until December 1, in Bucharest. During the event nine Croatian feature films were presented, including Koko and the Ghosts directed by Daniel Kusan.

Feature film The Reaper directed by Zvonimir Juric produced by Kinorama is one of 20 projects that have received Eurimages fund support. The film was supported by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, and during development was presented at numerous international production markets and workshops. At the opening ceremony of the eleventh edition of Zagreb Film Festival Croatian Producers Association the annual Albert Kapovic Award was given. The award is given to physical and legal persons who made their mark in cinematic art over the year or whose activities have substantially contributed to the quality and promotion of Croatian film. This year Award is given to the Kinorama's producer Ankica Juric Tilic. Prof. Vedran Mihletic, member of the Board of the Croatian Producers Association presented the Award to Ankica Juric Tilic.

Shooting of The Reaper has begun Shooting of The Reaper has begun

Shooting of the film The Reaper directed by Zvonimir Juric, produced by Kinorama has begun few days ago. It will last until mid-November and will take place at locations near Zagreb. The story written by Zvonimir Juric and Jelena Paljan is about the man's mistake that was made long ago and that completely changed his life the same way the war trauma changed the people's lives in the surroundings where the story takes place. The casts includes Ivo Gregurevic, Mirjana Karanovic, Igor Kovac, Nikola Ristanovski, Zlatko Buric Kico and Lana Baric. Producer of the film is Ankica Juric Tilic with Branko Linta as the director of photography, Ivan Veljaca as the art director, Ivana Zozoli Vargovic as the costume designer and Dubravka Turic as the editor.

Feature film One Shot written and directed by Robert Orhel had the international premiere at Montreal World Film Festival. This year's festival claim is "The World is Yours" and offered 432 films, most of which were premieres. At just closed 22nd Croatian film festival DHF, two Kinorama's films were awarded: a short film directed by Predrag Licina Zovko Teleport by jury award for best editing that went to Tomislav Pavlic and animated intro to the feature film The Mysterious Boy, awarded by critics award Oktavijan given to Cejen Cernic and Alen Vukovic. The festival was also the premiere festival screening for short films The Girl Who Loved Fairy-Tales directed by Cejen Cernic and Prettyboy directed by Sasa Ban.

The jury also awarded the prize for best producer which this year went to Kinorama.

Kinorama's project in development Quit staring at my Plate to be directed by Hana Jusic was admitted to the prestigious scriptwriting workshop Torino Film Lab, a program Script & Pitch. Today was the last day of the first residential workshop that was held in Krakow at which participated the director and screenwriter of the project with the extremely positive impressions.

In the last two years TorinoFilmLab profiled itself as one of the most important film workshops and it's primary focus are feature projects at an early stage of development. Thanks to the good reputation, but also thanks to the excellent prize fund, TFL has become extremely competitive and the selection of the project into the program objectively is a great success. Annualy, the workshop receives 16 projects which are developed in a period of nine months (March to November 2013) at three residential and two on-line sessions.

After a successful premiere in Zagreb, today The Mysterious Boy also delighted audience in Karlovac.

The Mysterious Boy, which is from February 28 in the distribution in cinemas across Croatia, was created in production of Kinorama with co-production partner Croatian Radiotelevision and directed by Drazen Zarkovic and is the second out of planned series of four detective films with a hero Koko.

Last night's gala premiere of the film for children The Mysterious Boy was held at Cinestar cinema. Three full auditoriums were too small for all of those who rushed to see the film first.

Although the film is primarily intended for children's audience, last night's screening has clearly shown that the adults who were reading Koko's adventures as a school reading, with pleasure watched this gripping story set in a nostalgic eighties.

Film audience will be able to watch the film in theaters across the Croatia from Thursday 28th February.

Koko and the Ghosts presented in Germany Koko and the Ghosts presented in Germany

Young actor in the role of Zlatko from the film Koko and the Ghosts, Kristian Bonacic presented the film in Stuttgart at the screening in Croatian school. Impressions after projections were great and Kristian, accompanied by his mother, returned to Croatia delighted. All Croatian school students (several generations) attended the screening and the Q&A after the movie was quite long and pleasant.

The Mysterious Boy, second film from the series of detective children's films based on the novels written by Ivan Kusan, is scheduled for cinema distribution starting from the 28th February.
Hana Jusic, the screenwriter, wrote the screenplay based on the Kusan's template with the help of the director Drazen Zarkovic and author of the film Koko and the Ghosts, Daniel Kusan. The project has been development at the international workshop Prime for Kids & Family and was presented at the prestigious children's film market Cinekid in Amsterdam. Support for script development and later for production was provided by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. Kinorama produced the film together with Croatian Radiotelevision's Programme for children and young which also supported previous film from Koko series - Koko and the Ghosts. In addition to these regular partners, the development of the film was also supported by respected MEDIA Programme (Slate Funding).
The distribution company for the film is 2i Film.

Feature film for children Koko and the Ghosts has been broadcasted on Croatian Radiotelevision at 8:15 p.m. on New Year's day. This was television premiere for Kinorama's successful film which is produced in coproduction with HRT and which has been seen by 86.000 viewers.
