Series Mania is held in Lille, France and brings together over 60 major shows from across the world, and No-Signal Area will be screened as part of the Panorama International competition program, along with 14 other shows from around the globe.

Staffroom awarded in Karlovy Vary Staffroom awarded in Karlovy Vary

The Staffroom, Sonja TarokiŠ's debut film, returns from the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival with the Special Jury Mention and the Commendation of the Ecumenical Jury, which described the film as an energetic, universal and encouraging tribute to all schooling staff around the world. The Karlovy Vary Festival is the oldest and the most prominent film festival in Southeast Europe and is among the 15 A-category festivals.

Croatian films in Karlovy Vary Croatian films in Karlovy Vary

We participated in the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival with two titles - Sonja TarokiŠ's debut film The Staffroom was screened in the main competition program and, together with 11 other titles, competed for the prestigious Crystal Globe Award, while Dalibor MataniŠ's The Dawn was screened as part of the Horizons section, which is a selection of the most remarkable contemporary films.

The Dawn by Dalibor MataniŠ has been screened at the Betina Film Festival and the Dalmatia Film Festival which takes place in several Dalmatian cities. The Dawn was screened in Sutivan on the island of BraŔ, and the viewers of both festivals could enjoy outdoor film screenings.

Seven awards at the 68th Pula Film Festival Seven awards at the 68th Pula Film Festival

Kinorama's films have won as many as 7 awards at the 68th edition of the Pula Film Festival. The Dawn by Dalibor MataniŠ has won 4 awards: the Golden Arena for Best Sound Design to Mirko Perri and Julije Zornik, the Golden Arena for Best Music to Alen and Nenad Sinkauz, the Golden Arena for Best Editing to Tomislav Pavlic and the Golden Arena for Best Cinematography to Marko Brdar. Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn by Romanian director Radu Jude has won the Golden Arena for the Best Minority Co-production, and Ankica JuriŠ TiliŠ has been awarded for the best Croatian contribution in a minority co-production for the same film. Traces by Dubravka TuriŠ has been awarded as part of the Work in Progress Films program.

The Dawn, directed by Dalibor MataniŠ, has been screened as part of the main competition program at the FEST International Film Festival. The already 49th edition of the Belgrade festival is held under the slogan Back to the Future and, in a pandemic-adapted edition, the film has been presented by producer Ankica JuriŠ TiliŠ and actress Tihana LazoviŠ.

Golden Bear for Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn Golden Bear for Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn

Romanian director Radu Jude's film Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn has won the top prize at this year's Berlin Film Festival. The Berlin jury stated in its explanation that the Golden Bear had been awarded to the film because of the rare and essential quality of a lasting artwork that captures on screen the very content of our present moment in time. The awards ceremony will take place in the summer part of the festival between June 9 and 20, when the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the film program.

Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn, a film by Romanian director Radu Jude, created through collaboration of Romania, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic and Croatia, has been included in the competition programme of this year's Berlin Film Festival, where it will also have its world premiere. The famous film festival will see its 71st edition this year, and it will be held in two parts: from March 1 to 5, film-makers will present their films and projects, while the audience will be able to enjoy the film program in the summer, from June 9 to 20.
